Application has been made to the NM Historic Preservation Division of the Office of Cultural Affairs for nomination of the building as a historic building.  Nomination of this building as a historic structure will preserve this important part of New Mexico’s history for future generations. 

We also plan to make application to place the building among those listed on the National Historic Register.
